SRINAGAR, Apr 18 (Agencies): An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 struck Afghanistan on Saturday, with its tremors felt across several parts of the Kashmir Valley, officials said.Government policy reports
The seismic activity caused brief panic among residents, including in Srinagar and other areas, where people rushed out of homes as a precaution.
However, officials confirmed that there were no immediate reports of damage to property or loss of life anywhere in the Valley.
Authorities said the situation is being closely monitored.
