JAMMU, Jul 20: Sanjay Aggarwal, Managing Director of Jammu Motors Pvt. Ltd. And State Chairperson FADA J&K was honoured with the prestigious 7th Entrepreneur & Achiever Awards 2026 by Media Federation of India (MFI) and Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) during a distinguished award ceremony held in Chandigarh.
The 7th Entrepreneur & Achiever Awards 2026 is one of the endeavors in the direction, where MFI and PRCI honors, recognize and celebrate distinguished professionals, entrepreneurs, and change-makers of who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in their respective fields. The Award is being organized to recognize efforts of individuals in defining success in their respective fields with their dynamic leadership at various levels.
The award ceremony was graced by Alba Smeriglio, British Deputy High Commissioner as the Chief Guest of the award ceremony.
Sanjay Aggarwal is a prominent entrepreneur and automobile industry leader from Jammu & Kashmir, currently serving as the Managing Director of Jammu Motors Private Limited and Chairperson of Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) Jammu. With more than three decades of experience in the automobile retail and dealership sector, he has played a significant role in strengthening the automotive business ecosystem across Jammu & Kashmir. He is also Director of Sapcon Steels Pvt Ltd and Vijay Steel Industries.
Founded in 1997, Jammu Motors Pvt. Ltd. has grown under his leadership into one of the region’s recognized automobile dealership groups, associated with leading automotive brands including Maruti Suzuki.
Aggarwal was unanimously re-elected as the State Chairperson of FADA Jammu for the term 2024 – 26 during the 60th Annual General Meeting of FADA held in New Delhi. This marked his third consecutive term, reflecting the trust and confidence reposed in his leadership by the automobile dealer fraternity.
Apart from his contributions to the automobile industry, he has also been actively associated with several reputed trade and business organizations including the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Jammu Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JCCI), PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Known for his proactive approach and industry advocacy,Aggarwal has consistently worked towards addressing key challenges faced by automobile dealers and consumers in Jammu & Kashmir. His efforts towards policy dialogue, industry representation, and social initiatives have earned him recognition as a dynamic and influential business leader in the region.
Aggarwal is also honoured with “Jagran Achiever Award” by Jagran Prakashan Group. at a distinguished award ceremony held in Shanghai, China and “Vyapar Rattan Award” by Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII) during the FTII Global Conference held at New Delhi.
