MAHANPUR, Jul 20: Government Degree College (GDC) Mahanpur has commenced the document verification process for students applying under the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for the academic session 2026–27.
The verification process is being conducted under the able guidance of the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Sudan, to ensure smooth, transparent, and timely verification of scholarship applications.
The PMSSS document verification process is being coordinated by Prof. Binti Sharma, Head, Department of Physics, who is serving as the Nodal Officer and Convener of the PMSSS Committee.
She is assisted by the other committee members, Mangu Ram and Sunny Sharma, who are actively involved in scrutinizing and verifying the documents submitted by students.
The college administration has appealed to all eligible students to visit the college with the required original documents and photocopies as per the notified schedule to complete the verification process without delay. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the committee members and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to ensuring that every eligible student receives the benefits of the PMSSS in a timely and efficient manner.
