VIJAYPUR, Oct 31: Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on 31st October 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
On the occasion, a pledge to uphold the unity, integrity and security of the nation was administered by Ranjit Singh Sambyal, Principal PTTI Vijaypur, to the staff and trainees of the Institute. Subsequently, a march-past was organized in which staff and trainees participated with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
Addressing the gathering, the Principal highlighted the invaluable contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the integration of the nation and emphasized the importance of fostering national unity, integrity and a sense of collective responsibility among police personnel.
He observed that the occasion serves as a reminder of the vision and ideals of the great national leader and inspires everyone to work towards strengthening the unity and security of the country.
The event was attended by Bikram Kumar, Vice Principal; Satish Kumar, DySP (Indoor); Neha Bhagat, Sr. PO; and other officers, staff and trainees of the Institute.
The programme concluded with floral tributes being paid to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by the Principal and other officers, staff and trainees, in recognition of his monumental contribution to nation-building.
