KISHTWAR, May 14: National Cadet Corps activities at Government Degree College Kishtwar received a significant boost as Col. Manujendra Singh, Administrative Officer, 10 J&K NCC Battalion, paid his maiden visit to the institution today.
During the visit, a detailed discussion was held with Prof. Basharat Iqbal, Principal of the college, and Lt. Prithvi Raj, Associate NCC Officer, on the smooth functioning, strengthening, and future roadmap of NCC activities in the college.
Col. Singh also held an interactive session with 1st and 2nd year NCC cadets. He highlighted the numerous opportunities, benefits, and character-building aspects of NCC, and motivated cadets to maintain an effective balance between academics and NCC activities to achieve excellence in both spheres.
The Administrative Officer appreciated the enthusiasm, discipline, and dedication of the cadets and expressed satisfaction over the functioning of the NCC unit. He encouraged cadets to uphold the core values of unity, discipline, and service to the nation.
