Kishtwar Headmaster announces educational support for orphaned students, appeals for Govt School admissions

KISHTWAR, Oct 31: Headmaster Rajesh Parihar of Government Middle School Mali Paith, Zone Kishtwar, has launched an initiative to encourage admissions in government schools while ensuring educational support for underprivileged and orphaned children.

Appealing to parents to enrol their children in government educational institutions, Parihar announced that he would personally bear the educational expenses of one child if a family enrols three of its children in Government Middle School Mali Paith.

In another significant initiative, the entire school staff has collectively decided to bear the annual educational expenses of orphaned students admitted to the institution. Under the initiative, each teacher will adopt one orphaned student for an academic year and provide the necessary educational and financial support to ensure continuity in their studies.

The initiative aims to ensure that no orphaned child is deprived of education due to financial constraints and reflects the school’s commitment to inclusive education and social responsibility.

Speaking on the occasion, Parihar said that government schools have qualified and experienced teachers who are capable of providing quality education and ensuring the overall academic development of students. He emphasised that every child deserves equal educational opportunities, irrespective of financial background or family circumstances.

Expressing concern over the declining enrolment in several government schools across Kishtwar district, he observed that an increasing preference for private educational institutions has affected student strength in public schools.

He urged parents to repose their confidence in government schools and take advantage of the educational facilities and experienced teaching staff available in these institutions.

As part of the awareness campaign, Parihar has also displayed admission-related posters at various locations across Kishtwar town to encourage parents to enrol their children in government schools and support the public education system.

The initiatives have highlighted the importance of community participation, educational inclusion and collective responsibility in strengthening government institutions.

The school aims to reinforce the message that every child deserves access to education and financial hardship should never become a barrier to learning.
