JAMMU, Jul 1: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for re-registration for the July 2026 admission session till 15th of July, 2026. The last date was earlier fixed to June 30, 2026 as notified by the University authorities which stands extended for the benefit of those learners who could not re-register themselves in time owing to several reasons.
To enroll in the next year or semester, learners need to register on the Portal and click the “New Registration’’ button to proceed and provide the correct mobile number and e-mail ID so that the University is able to send confirmation and other important updates only if the correct mobile number and e-mail ID are submitted.
Currently registered learners across all Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online programmes who are due to progress to their next semester or subsequent academic year can now complete their submission without any financial penalty or late fee for another fifteen days from now.
The learners experiencing system errors or profile synchronization delays are advised to immediately contact Regional Centre Jammu on email rcjammu@ignou.ac.in for re-setting of their account/updating email ID or mobile number manually at the Regional Centre level.
Learners can apply for IGNOU re-registration July 2026 by visiting the official website of the IGNOU www.ignou.ac.in. The direct link for online re-registration is https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/ which can be accessed under the drop-down menu option “Register Online” on IGNOU website.
In line with recent institutional directives, learners are strictly cautioned to rely entirely on official communication channels like the Main IGNOU Portal www.ignou.ac.in and Regional Centre website http://rcjammu.ignou.ac.in/ and avoid third-party portals or unauthorized intermediaries.
The hand-out released from the Regional Centre states that the fresh admissions for July 2026 are also open for which the last date has been fixed for July 15, 2026.
