JAMMU, Jul 1: Continuing his commitment to strengthening public infrastructure and enhancing civic amenities across the Bahu Constituency, MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa on Wednesday inaugurated the Development of Amenities (Open Gym, Lighting & Borewell) at Sector-6, Channi Himmat Park.
The inauguration was carried out in the presence of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Dr. Devansh Yadav, senior officials of JMC, local residents, and public representatives.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa said that the development of the park fulfills a long-pending demand of the local residents. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that every genuine public demand is addressed on priority and that quality civic infrastructure reaches every part of the constituency.
The MLA appreciated the efforts of the Jammu Municipal Corporation and expressed his sincere gratitude to Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav for extending full cooperation in completing the project. He stated that the coordinated efforts of the administration and public representatives are essential for ensuring timely development works that directly benefit the people.
The newly developed amenities, including an open gym, improved lighting, and a borewell facility, are expected to significantly enhance the recreational environment and convenience for residents, particularly youth, senior citizens, and families visiting the park.
Local residents expressed their gratitude to MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa for fulfilling their long-pending demand and thanked him for his continuous efforts towards the development and beautification of the Bahu Constituency.
