JAMMU, Aug 15: In the spirit of unity, progress, and national pride, Jammu Province Peoples Forum (JPPF), an amalgam of social, commercial, and other organizations, a strong voice of Dogras and a common platform of all civil society members to raise a united voice for the welfare of the people of Jammu province, celebrated 80thIndependence Day on the theme “Yuva Shakti for Viksit Bharat@2047” and “150 Years of Vande Mataram”by organizing colorful programme and flag hoisting in their premises.
The programme started with the welcome speech by President JPPF, Pavitar Singh where he welcomed all the members and the other audience present in the event.
He further highlighted the sacrifices made by our beloved warriors to achieve this freedom. Further Working President M S Katoch showed a great level of enthusiasm in encouraging the members present for the event and motivated them to raise their voice for their rights.
He further added that the celebration was a testament to the enduring values and aspirations that underlie the post-independence journey of India. With a focus on unity in diversity, the event aimed to highlight the remarkable strides the nation has taken since gaining its freedom 80 years ago.
The Flag hoisting was done by the President, JPPF Pavitar Singh whereas other members witness the programme. The programme was concluded by singing National Anthem followed by sweets distribution.
