JAMMU, Jun 11: Union Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, felicitated renowned multilingual author and poet Dr Satish Vimal in recognition of his outstanding contribution to literature and cultural awakening.
The Minister visited Dr Vimal’s residence and honoured him for his exemplary literary achievements and his enduring commitment to preserving and promoting literary and cultural values. Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Seth praised Dr Vimal’s dedication to literature and society, noting that he continued his creative and intellectual pursuits while remaining in the Kashmir Valley during the challenging decades of the past more than thirty years.
Dr Satish Vimal is a distinguished writer, poet and scholar who has authored more than 30 books in Hindi, Kashmiri, English and Urdu. His literary works have earned widespread acclaim and several prestigious awards, making him one of the prominent voices in contemporary Indian literature.
