RAMBAN, Aug 3: Government Degree College (GDC) Ramban organised a grand event to mark the launch of 14 Day long Special Cleanliness Drive.
In the event a large gathering of students NSS volunteers and others participated with great enthusiasm and dedication.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Principal. Prof. Romesh Kumar Atri who encouraged the students and staff to actively participate in the Cleanliness drive for maintaining a clean and healthy environment in the campus.
A large number of NSS volunteer’s students enthusiastically took part in the drive and cleaned various locations around the college building, playgrounds and other areas of the campus.
During the course of drive escorting staff and NSS PO of the college also spread awareness about the importance of proper waste disposal of the refuse, reducing the single use of plastic and maintaining the cleanliness in daily life. The drive which lasted for one hour concluded with instruction for the next day.
