JAMMU, Jun 25: Continuing its commitment towards community welfare and public health, the All Jammu and Kashmir Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha (Regd.) has announced that it will organise a free medical camp for Bone Density and Blood Sugar testing on June 28 (Sunday) at its headquarters in Krishna Nagar, Jammu, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The announcement was made during a press conference attended by members of the Sabha’s executive committee under the presidentship of Er. R.C. Bhasin.

The Sabha said it has consistently worked towards strengthening healthcare services by organising several medical camps and providing regular free OPD facilities with the support of experienced doctors from the community representing different medical disciplines. The upcoming camp is another step in its ongoing efforts to make quality healthcare accessible to economically weaker and needy sections of society.

General Secretary Tarsem Loach appealed to the public to make full use of the free medical services.

“The Sabha has always remained committed to serving society through healthcare initiatives. We appeal to all needy people to come forward and avail themselves of the free Bone Density and Blood Sugar testing being organised with the support of renowned doctors from our community. Our objective is to promote preventive healthcare and ensure that quality medical services reach those who need them the most,” he said.

Besides healthcare initiatives, the Sabha also announced plans to expand its social welfare activities by introducing educational facilities for underprivileged students. These include establishing a well-equipped library and launching online classes for secondary school students in the near future to support their academic development.

The Sabha said these initiatives reflect its continued commitment to improving both the health and educational standards of the community and reaffirmed its resolve to work for the welfare of society through sustained social service programmes.
