JAMMU, Aug 1: Demonstrating that age is no barrier to success, Shivya Talwar, a Class IX-D student of Delhi Public School, Jammu, is earning recognition for her exceptional talent in crochet and her entrepreneurial spirit.
Shivya began learning crochet at the age of 12 under the guidance of her mother, inspired by her sister. In just seven months, she has progressed from learning basic crochet stitches to creating a wide range of intricate handmade products through consistent practice and dedication.
Balancing academics with her growing venture, Shivya has emerged as one of the youngest crochet entrepreneurs from Jammu. Her efforts were recently recognized with a feature in a women’s magazine, highlighting her creativity, perseverance, and inspiring journey.
Reflecting on her achievement, Shivya shared, “I have been working on my talent with great dedication, and I’m grateful that my efforts have been recognized. Being featured in a women’s magazine is a proud achievement for me. I am continuously learning and growing through this entrepreneurial journey, and I hope to continue making my school proud.”
