AKHNOOR, Sep 14: BJP MLA from Akhnoor, Mohan Lal Bhagat, on Monday addressed a press conference at his office regarding the upcoming ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, outlining its objectives, proposed programmes and the initiatives undertaken during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service.
Mohan Lal Bhagat said the campaign will commence on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. The initiative aims to take various public service activities and welfare schemes to the grassroots level and encourage greater participation of people in nation-building. It will also seek to connect citizens with the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’.
Giving details of the programme, the MLA said a series of activities will be organised under the campaign, including ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’, ‘Sapno Ka Bharat’, ‘Seva Gatha-Namo Seva’, ‘Aangan Utsav-Aangan Milan Seva’, ‘Kahani Badlav Ki-Seva Ki Kahani’, ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’, ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’, ‘Seva Mein Mewa Yogdan’, ‘Rangoli Rashtra’, ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’ and ‘Jan Sevak Mahakumbh’.
The MLA highlighted several major initiatives and achievements associated with Prime Minister Modi’s 25 years of public service, including Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Digital India, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, promotion of solar energy, Chandrayaan-3 and the construction of the Ram Mandir.
He said the campaign would focus on spreading awareness about welfare initiatives while strengthening the spirit of service and public participation.
BJP District President Kuldeep Sharma, District Incharge Vinay Gupta, District Co-Incharge Vaishno Devi, District General Secretaries Surinder Singh and Shakti Kumar were also present on the occasion.
