JAMMU, Aug 18 (Agencies): Police and CRPF personnel on Tuesday launched search operations at several locations in Udhampur and Reasi districts following reports of suspicious movement.
Sources said a joint team of police and the CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation in Talot village of Udhampur after receiving information about suspected movement in the area late Monday night.
Following the inputs, the joint team reached the area and conducted searches at various locations, they said.
Meanwhile, police and CRPF personnel also launched a search operation in the Sadini forests of Reasi district following reports of suspicious movement.
The searches were underway when reports last came in.
