KISHTWAR, Sep 29: Mission Director Sajjad Ahmed Ganie today attended a district-level meeting in Kishtwar with the District Programme Officer (DPO), Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs), Supervisors and Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) to review the implementation and progress of various activities under the ICDS and Poshan initiatives in the district.
The meeting focused on strengthening service delivery at the Anganwadi Centre level, with detailed discussions on child growth monitoring, nutrition services, identification and follow-up of SAM/MAM children, timely vaccination, preschool education, Poshan Tracker updation and community participation.
The Mission Director interacted with field functionaries and emphasized the importance of regular monitoring, proper record maintenance and ensuring quality services to all eligible beneficiaries.
He directed the concerned officers and field functionaries to work with dedication and ensure effective implementation of government schemes, particularly for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers.
The meeting concluded with directions for improved inter-departmental coordination, regular field-level monitoring and timely implementation of departmental activities across the district.
