JAMMU, Oct 21: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has issued official updated guidelines and fee submission protocols for all students submitting Projects, Dissertations, Field Work Journals, and Internship Reports for the upcoming December 2026 Term-End Examination (TEE). To streamline evaluation and reduce manual processing delays, the university mandates that students adhere strictly to the centralized digital submission matrix and updated credit-based fee structure.
All final reports must be uploaded directly through the official IGNOU Online Project System Portal. Hardcopy submissions will not be accepted at Maidan Garhi or Regional Centres unless explicitly specified under unique program exceptions (such as DECE04).
In accordance with recent structural revisions, students are required to pay a compulsory project evaluation fee prior to submission. This fee must be processed via the IGNOU Samarth Portal or alongside the standard TEE Examination Form @ Rs 300 per course for project modules up to 4 credits and @ Rs 500 per course for project modules exceeding 4 credits (including specialized master’s tracks like MBA MMPP-001). A digital copy of the fee payment receipt must be retained, as it constitutes a mandatory component of the final upload.
The university warns that incomplete files or multiple disjointed attachments will face automatic rejection. Students must merge all relevant documentation into a single, legible PDF file structured in the precise sequence vis a vis Title Page, Approved Proposal Proforma, Supervisor Credentials, Certificate of Originality, and Fee Receipt.
“The online submission window is actively open on the university portal. Students are strongly advised to complete the respective practical/practicum/project uploads well ahead of the final closing date which is November 30, 2026 to avoid system congestion. Portals will automatically lock at the conclusion of the deadline, and no late entries will be entertained for the December 2026 cycle”, said Dr. Asha Upadhyay, Regional Director, Regional Centre Jammu.
