JAMMU, Aug 28: Jodhpur is celebrating the 388th birth anniversary of Veer Durgadas Rathore on August 27, 2026. At the main ceremony held on Masuria Hill, 12 talented individuals will be honored with the “Veer Durgadas Rathore Samman.”
In this connection, Jodhpur’s senior artist, Heeralal Chitrakar, presented a portrait of former Maharaja Gaj Singh Ji (Baapji) of Marwar.
Heeralal Chitrakar has achieved fame in miniature art. The painter has brought fame not only to Jodhpur but to the entire country, both domestically and internationally, and has also received numerous national and international honors.
