Enhancement monthly cash  assistance of Kashmiri  Displaced migrants now need of hour : Yogi, Pandita

JAMMU, Aug 10: The monthly cash assistance of displaced Kashmiri migrants on which many migrant families are wholly solely dependent has not been enhanced since long time. As a result of which they are unable to make their both ends meet in this hard time of  forceful migration on such a meager cash assistance as well find difficult to impart education to their children  and manage multiple ailments of their elders on such low monthly  cash assistance.

In a Joint Statement issued today, Senior KP leader M.K.Yogi General Secretary Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj and President Jammu & Kashmir

Displaced Kashmiri Pandit Front Vinod Pandita have once again appealed to Prime Minister, Home Minister and Lt. Governor J&K personally take a humantarian review and get this meager cash assistance enhanced from Rs  13000 to Rs  25000 per month in order to tide over their derivations for sake of justice and equity in this tough time of their exodus that has crossed more than 37 years.

They have also appealed for creation /advertisment of new ten thousand posts for educated displaced youth as unemployment is very high in the community and the youth is feeling desperate and frustrated,  in order to provide them solace on this count as no  such package has been given to Kashmiri Displaced migrants since 2009-09.

Yogi & Pandita  also urged for formulation  of tangible return and rehabilitation policy for displaced Kashmiri migrants keeping in view all the security parameters in a time bound period so that they permanently rehabilitated with honour and dignity.

Other Prominent persons who endorsed and supported the above demands were Ashok Kumar Koul ,  Sanjay Raina , Adv. Jyoti Dhar, Vinod Bhat, Dazy Dhar,   Virender Ganjoo, Inderjit Raina, Sanjay Raina, Ashutosh Pandita, M.K.Bhat and others.
