JAMMU, Aug 29: On the occasion of National Sports Day, MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat), under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, organised the “Khelo India Dialogue” programme at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu.
The programme brought together youth, sportspersons, sports enthusiasts and representatives associated with the sports sector. On the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the programme virtually.
The programme was also attended by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the programme, Sushil Singh Charak, social worker and MY Bharat Resource Person for Jammu & Kashmir, was felicitated by Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma in recognition of his contribution towards sports promotion, youth engagement and social initiatives.
The felicitation was presented during the National Sports Day programme in recognition of Sushil Singh Charak’s association with youth engagement, social initiatives and efforts related to promoting sports.
The event was attended by MLA Yudhvir Sethi, Director of IIM Jammu Prof. B. S. Sahay, MY Bharat J&K Director Nitin Hangloo, MY Bharat Jammu DYO Vivek Kumar and MY Bharat UT Ambassador Ranjeet Kalra, along with other dignitaries, sportspersons and youth representatives.
