JAMMU, May 16: Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Cci) Jammu in association with Healing Hands organized a Free Disease Screening Camp at Chamber House, Jammu for the welfare of the general public and members of the business community.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Rakesh Minhas, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, who appreciated the efforts of CCI Jammu for organizing a meaningful healthcare initiative for society. He also lauded the team of doctors for providing selfless medical services and felicitated them with Mata ki Chunri and mementos. The Chief Guest was welcomed by the Chamber team led by President Arun Gupta with a bouquet, shawl and memento. Senior members of the Chamber, prominent citizens, traders, industrialists and medical professionals were also present on the occasion.
A team of renowned doctors and specialists including Dr. Rajesh Gupta, Dr. Neeraj Mahajan, Dr. Puneeta Gupta, Dr. Ankit Mahajan, Dr. Shally Kandhari, Dr. Satyanker Gupta and Dr. Deepak Pathania provided medical consultations and screening facilities during the camp.
The camp offered a wide range of diagnostic and health screening services including Fibro Scan, Spirometry, HbA1c, Neuropathy Test, Lipid Profile, BMD Test, ECG, Blood Pressure, Uric Acid and Hemoglobin tests, Thyroid Profile, Vitamin-D, Hepatitis-B screening, Ophthalmology Consultation, Dietician Consultation and Kidney Function Tests (KFT).
Speaking on the occasion, Arun Gupta expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner Jammu for inaugurating the camp and thanked the doctors for rendering valuable services to members of the Chamber and the general public. He informed that more than 350 people availed the free medical screening facilities during the camp, reflecting increasing awareness among the public regarding preventive healthcare and lifestyle-related diseases.
He further stated that the Chamber remains committed to promoting health awareness and preventive healthcare among traders, industrialists and the general public. He appealed to people to actively participate in such healthcare initiatives for early diagnosis and better management of diseases.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the business community as well as local residents, highlighting the growing importance of regular health check-ups and preventive medical care.
