BUNJWAH, Sep 19: Awaz E Bunjwah on Saturday addressed the media during a press conference held near Tanta Eidgah, expressing gratitude to all individuals, departments, institutions, security forces, wrestlers, volunteers, donors and members of the public for their cooperation in the successful conclusion of Dangal Mela Devigoal 2026.
The organisation said the event was organised with the objectives of promoting communal harmony, brotherhood, sportsmanship, youth engagement and the message of a drug-free society. It said the participation of people from different sections of the area and coordinated support from various stakeholders reflected the collective spirit of Bunjwah.
Awaz E Bunjwah placed on record its appreciation for the District Administration Kishtwar, Tehsil Administration Bunjwah, J&K Police, SOG Wing Devigoal, Indian Army 26 RR Coy Patnazi, Rural Development Department, Health Department, Jal Shakti Department, Power Development Department and other concerned departments for their cooperation in ensuring the peaceful and disciplined conduct of the event.
The organisation also acknowledged the contribution of political representatives, social activists, senior citizens, local communities, participating wrestlers, sponsors, donors and volunteers, stating that their collective efforts helped make the event successful.
Awaz E Bunjwah emphasised that the success of Dangal Mela Devigoal 2026 should be viewed as a collective achievement rather than the accomplishment of any individual or organisation. It reiterated its commitment to working with transparency, accountability, unity and a spirit of public service.
The organisation further informed that the income and expenditure details related to the event had been submitted before the concerned Tehsil Administration. It said the step reflected its stated commitment to financial transparency and public accountability.
