REASI, May 17: An awareness lecture-cum-interactive session on Cyber Fraud was conducted at Batsiyala on 16 May 2026 to educate the local populace about the growing threats of cybercrime in the present era. The programme was organised by the Indian Army with the aim of spreading awareness regarding cyber security and safe internet practices among the youth and local residents.

With the increasing use of internet-based applications and social media platforms, the younger generation has become increasingly vulnerable to cyber frauds due to limited awareness and lack of knowledge about cyber security.
