Army organises interaction with ex-servicemen at Thanamandi

RAJOURI, Aug 28: The Indian Army organised an interaction with Ex-Servicemen (ESM) at Thanamandi, Rajouri with the aim of honouring their service to the nation and addressing their concerns. The Indian Army representatives interacted with the veterans and expressed their deep gratitude for their selfless service, dedication and sacrifices made in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the country. The interaction provided a platform for Ex-Servicemen to share their concerns, issues and suggestions with the Indian Army representatives.

During the interaction, various welfare measures, government schemes, pension-related matters and assistance available for Ex-Servicemen and their dependents were discussed. The veterans were also briefed about available support mechanisms and initiatives aimed at ensuring their continued welfare.

The Indian Army representatives assured the veterans of all possible assistance in resolving their genuine grievances and reiterated the Indian Army’s commitment towards maintaining a strong and enduring bond with the veteran community. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 32 Ex-Servicemen of the region.

The initiative reflects the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment towards the welfare and well-being of its veterans and their families. The Indian Army remains steadfast in ensuring that those who have served the nation continue to receive the respect, care and support they rightfully deserve.
