Army conducts charity cricket match promoting Nasha Mukt message in Sunderbani

SUNDERBANI, May 30:  As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukti Drive, The Indian Army in coordination with the Civil Administration under ADC Sunderbani, organised a charity cricket match to spread awareness against drug abuse and promote healthy living among local youth.

The friendly match brought together Army personnel, civil administration representatives and local youth, highlighting the power of sports as a positive medium for discipline, teamwork and social responsibility. The event carried the message “Say NO to Drugs, YES to Life”, encouraging young people to stay away from substance abuse and adopt a purposeful, active and disciplined lifestyle.

Speaking on the occasion, the organisers emphasised that community participation, sportsmanship and awareness are essential to protect youth from the dangers of drugs. The initiative also strengthened Army-civil administration synergy and reinforced the shared commitment to building a drug-free society.

The event concluded with a message of unity, fitness and collective responsibility towards a healthier Jammu & Kashmir.
