JAMMU, Aug 28: In view of the continuously increasing passenger rush, festival and holiday traffic and long waiting lists, Northern Railway’s Jammu Division has decided to temporarily attach an additional Third AC (3rd AC) coach to Train No. 12426 Jammu Tawi–New Delhi Rajdhani Express.
The additional coach will be attached to the train with effect from August 29 to August 30, 2026, providing additional accommodation to passengers travelling from Jammu towards New Delhi. The move is expected to benefit hundreds of passengers and provide relief to those facing difficulties due to the heavy demand for reserved berths.
Jammu Division has appealed to passengers to check their reservation status and updated coach composition before commencing their journey. Passengers can obtain information regarding seat availability and train schedules through the official Indian Railways and IRCTC platforms or the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) mobile application.
