She said the life and teachings of the Prophet (SAW) embody mercy, compassion, justice, patience, brotherhood and guidance for all humanity.
She urged the administration to make adequate arrangements at all major venues where Milad programmes, congregations and processions are scheduled, with special focus on Hazratbal Sharief, Srinagar, besides other religious centres, Imam Bargahs, mosques and designated programme locations across the Valley.
Raina called for close coordination among all concerned departments, including the Jammu & Kashmir Police, Traffic Police, Health and Medical Education Department, Jal Shakti Department, Power Development Department, Srinagar Municipal Corporation and other Urban Local Bodies, Roads & Buildings Department, Fire & Emergency Services, Transport Department and District Administrations.
