JAMMU, Aug 17: Mission Yuva Udyam Jagriti 5.0 – Neo Innovative Hackathon was successfully organized on Monday at Government Degree College (GDC), Nagrota. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Principal Dr. Anjali Mahajan, with the support of IIC Coordinator Dr Mushrat Choudhary, Placement Coordinator Dr Vandana Ghai, and other college staff. A total of 90 participants attended the programme, with 90 on-spot registrations recorded. The event focused on creating awareness among students about the Mission Yuva Scheme and its opportunities for entrepreneurship and skill development. A dedicated training and awareness session was conducted to familiarize students with the Neo Innovative Hackathon its objectives, and the importance of innovative problem-solving.
Students were also guided through problem-solving cases based on key sectors such as Tourism, Handicrafts, and Agriculture, encouraging them to identify local challenges and develop innovative, practical solutions. The programme successfully motivated students to explore entrepreneurship, innovation, and self-employment opportunities under Mission Yuva.
