JAMMU, Aug 3: The Jammu and Kashmir unit of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) on Monday honoured Sunny Pradhan ( National President of Rashtriya Hindu Kalyan Sangathan) with the “Jammu Yoddha Smriti Chinh” in recognition of his contribution towards the welfare of the Hindu community, social awareness and national interest.
Addressing the function, Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K president Manish Sahni said Pradhan has been working consistently to unite and empower the Hindu community while actively raising issues concerning the political, social and constitutional rights of the Jammu region. He said honouring dedicated social workers is a tribute to their commitment towards society.
Accepting the honour, Pradhan said the award was not just a personal recognition but a tribute to all nationalist and social workers striving to preserve Indian culture, promote social harmony and strengthen the unity of the Hindu community. He added that the Rashtriya Hindu Kalyan Sangathan draws inspiration from Balasaheb Thackeray’s slogan, “Garv Se Kaho Hum Hindu Hain”, and remains committed to strengthening social awareness and national unity.
On the occasion, Shiv Sena (UBT) and the National Hindu Welfare Organisation jointly announced that they will organise a peaceful protest on August 5 demanding full statehood for Jammu.
The programme was attended by Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders Sanjeev Kohli, Sanjay Bhatt, Aditya Mahajan and Raju Kapoor, along with
Rakesh Kumar, Ram Lal Sapolia, and Anchal Kumar from the Rashtriya Hindu Kalyan Sangathan were present.
