NC Govt committed to development and employment for youth: M.K. Rana

JAMMU, Jul 20: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Joint Secretary, Central Zone, M.K. Rana on Monday reiterated that the Omar Abdullah-led Government is fully committed to accelerating development and creating meaningful employment opportunities for the youth across Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a public meeting at Panchayat Golda, covering Wards Nos. 4, 5 and 6 in Block Mathwar, Rana said that the present government is focused on fulfilling the aspirations of the people through inclusive development and improved public welfare. He alleged that the BJP-led Central Government had failed to deliver on its promises of development and employment, stating that the people deserve tangible progress rather than unfulfilled assurances.

Rana also appealed to residents of Block Mathwar to remain vigilant during the ongoing rainy season and assured them that every possible assistance would be extended to those affected by any emergency or adverse weather conditions.

During the interaction, local residents highlighted the long-pending issue of the re-tendering and installation of hand pumps in Wards Nos. 4, 5 and 6, stressing the need for an adequate drinking water supply in the area.

Responding to the concerns, Rana assured the gathering that he would take up the matter with the concerned Minister and make every effort to ensure that the issue is resolved at the earliest.

He reaffirmed the National Conference government’s commitment to addressing public grievances promptly and ensuring that essential civic amenities reach every village and locality. Rana also urged the people to continue participating actively in the development process and assured them that their concerns would receive due attention.
