CHANDIGARH, Nov 2: Nissan Motor India has recorded a 50 per cent year-on-year increase in domestic wholesales in October 2026, with volumes rising to 3,600 units compared to 2,402 units in the corresponding month last year.
The latest performance marks the company’s eighth consecutive month of year-on-year growth in domestic wholesales, reflecting continued demand for its vehicles in the Indian market.
According to the company, Nissan recorded total wholesales of 85,124 units across domestic and export markets between January and October 2026.
The growth has been supported by customer response to the company’s expanding product portfolio, which includes the all-new Nissan Tekton, Magnite and Gravite, along with the continued expansion of its dealership network.
Commenting on the performance, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said that the 50 per cent growth in domestic wholesales during October reflected customers’ continued confidence in the brand and the progress made by the company in India.
He said that the company had wholesaled 85,124 units across domestic and export markets during the first ten months of 2026, demonstrating the strength of its expanding product range and dealer network.
“As we approach Dhanteras and Diwali, we remain focused on serving customers through distinctive products and enhanced ownership experiences,” Vatsa said.
Nissan also recorded exports of 4,710 units during October, continuing to cater to customers across international markets through its operations in India.
Under its ‘One Car. One World.’ strategy, the company aims to provide customers in India and overseas with vehicles built to consistent global quality standards.
The company said that India continues to play an important role in its global operations, with its focus remaining on expanding its product portfolio, strengthening customer access and improving the overall ownership experience.
