A major attraction during the celebrations was the grand Garuda Puja procession, which featured decorated horses, Nandi figures and elephants. Devotees participated in the religious celebrations and sought the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.
Speaking on the occasion, J.R. Sharma Jackson expressed gratitude to Mohit Sharma for his support and for helping the group secure the opportunity to perform at the prestigious event.
He said that cultural platforms of this scale provide artists from Jammu and Kashmir with an opportunity to present the region’s Dogri and Kashmiri heritage before audiences from across India and beyond.
He also expressed hope that similar large-scale cultural programmes would be organised in Jammu, providing local artists with greater opportunities to showcase their talent and preserve and promote the region’s traditional folk culture.
