NEW DELHI, May 13 (Agencies):
Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets under the Amul brand, on Wednesday (May 13, 2026) announced a revision in the prices of fresh milk across major variants and packs in India.
According to the federation, the price of milk has been hiked by Rs. 2 per litre across India, effective May 14, due to rising input costs. This translates to an increase of around 2.5% to 3.5%, which it said remains lower than the average food inflation rate. The GCMMF noted that this is the first hike in Amul milk prices since May 2025.
