SRINAGAR, Oct 17 (Agencies): Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters has ordered the transfer and posting of 12 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and adjusted six IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre across Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on October 14, as per news agency JKNS, the IPS officers have been adjusted following their joining the J&K segment after completion of their Basic Course Training (Phase-II), in terms of the Ministry of Home Affairs order dated August 4, 2026.
IPS Officers Adjusted
As per the order, the following six IPS officers have been adjusted against the respective posts:
1. Ms Kumari Someya (AGMUT-2023) — ASP Headquarters, Jammu.
2. Daniel Raj C (AGMUT-2023) — ASP Headquarters, Budgam.
3. Ms Aditi Verma (AGMUT-2023) — SDPO West Srinagar.
4. Chaitanya Giri (AGMUT-2024) — SDPO R.S. Pura.
5. Anant Dhanraj Singh (AGMUT-2024) — SDPO Bari Brahmana.
6. Ayush Mani Chaudhary (AGMUT-2024) — SDPO Nowshera.
