SRINAGAR, Oct 18 (Agencies): The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast mainly dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir till the evening of October 23, with light rain and snowfall over higher reaches likely at a few places on October 24 and 25.
According to the latest forecast issued by the MeT Centre Srinagar, weather is expected to remain generally dry on October 18, although a brief spell of light snow may occur at a few higher-altitude locations.
Mainly dry conditions are likely to continue from October 19 to the evening of October 23.
The forecast indicates generally cloudy weather on October 24 and 25, with light rain at some places and light snowfall over higher reaches. Thunderstorms and gusty winds are also possible at a few locations during this period.
Weather is expected to remain mainly dry again from October 26 to 29, the MeT Centre said.
