SRINAGAR, Sep 3 (Agencies): The weather in Jammu and Kashmir is likely to remain generally dry, however brief spells of are expected to accompany at scattered places, according to a forecast issued by the Meteriological Centre Srinagar on Thursday.

An official spokesperson said that the Union Territory will experiance generally dry weather till starting from today—September 3—till 12.

Breaking it down on a daily basisi, the spokesperson said that on September 3, te weather is forecasted to remain generally dry in J&K coupled with brief spell showers at few places.

Moving to the next day, Friday—September 4—the weather is predicted to turn wet with spells of light to moderate rain along with thunderstorm at  many places. Some of the places may receive intense showers, he said.

Summing up the next week, he said that during 5 to 12 September, the weather will agin turn “generally dry” with the possibility of brief spell of rain and thunder at isolated/scattered places.
