JAMMU, June 28: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) President Rajiv Mahajan has made a heartfelt appeal to the people of Jammu & Kashmir to actively support law enforcement agencies in eliminating the menace of drug trafficking from society.
Mahajan said that if anyone is truly committed to making Jammu & Kashmir drug-free, they should not remain silent. “If you have credible information about any drug peddler, supplier, drug user, or any illegal drug-related activity, immediately inform the police or the concerned authorities. Your identity can be protected, and your timely information can help save countless young lives,” he said.
He emphasized that the fight against drugs cannot be won through slogans or social media posts alone. It requires active public participation, timely reporting, and strict enforcement of the law. Every responsible citizen has a moral duty to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying and exposing those involved in the illegal drug trade.
Rajiv Mahajan urged parents, teachers, youth, social organizations, religious institutions, and community leaders to remain vigilant and work together to prevent drug abuse from destroying the future of the younger generation.
“Drug addiction is not only a threat to individuals but also to families and society as a whole. Only through collective responsibility, public awareness, and close cooperation with the police can we effectively dismantle drug trafficking networks and build a safer, healthier, and drug-free Jammu & Kashmir,” Mahajan added.
