Sham Lal calls for encouraging young talent at ‘Spirit of Independence Season 3’

JAMMU, Aug 17: KMB & KB Productions, in collaboration with Betiya Foundation, organised “Spirit of Independence Season 3” in Jammu with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm, providing a platform for young participants to showcase their creativity and talent.

Sham Lal Sharma, MLA Jammu North, was the Chief Guest, while Keshav Chopra, Social Activist and Chairman of Samvedna Society, was the Guest of Honour. The programme was organised by Kiran Kesar Sharma.

The event witnessed colourful performances in singing, dance, poetry and modelling, with young participants displaying their creativity, confidence and patriotic spirit. The performers were felicitated with certificates and trophies for their participation and talent.

Speaking on the occasion, Sham Lal Sharma appreciated the organisers for creating meaningful opportunities for children and youth to showcase their abilities. He said such programmes help build confidence among youngsters while strengthening their connection with the nation and its rich cultural heritage. He stressed the need for parents, society and organisations to encourage young people to participate in constructive and patriotic activities.

Keshav Chopra congratulated the organisers and participants and said children should be encouraged to pursue their talents alongside academics. He called for patriotic programmes to be organised throughout the year to keep youth connected with national values.

Appealing for positive engagement of young people, Chopra said youth energy should be channelled towards constructive activities and gave the message, “Say No to Drugs & Yes to Talent.”

The programme concluded with appreciation for the participants, organisers and supporters for making the event a celebration of patriotism, creativity and youth talent.

Social Activist Dheeraj Uppal, Divyansh Baba, Vinay Gupta, Ashok Sharma, Tarun Sharma, Amit Sharma (Journalist) and others were also present.
