JAMMU, May 14: Members of Rashtriya Hind Sang on Thursday organised a protest demonstration in Jammu against the presence of alleged illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in the country. Protesters raised slogans demanding action from the authorities and called for strict measures against illegal infiltration.
During the demonstration, participants expressed concern over issues related to national security, illegal settlement and demographic changes. They urged the Government to identify and deport illegal immigrants allegedly residing in different parts of the country without valid documents.
Representatives of Rashtriya Hind Sang said that strong verification drives should be conducted and stricter laws enforced to prevent illegal immigration. They also appealed to the administration to maintain proper records and safeguard the interests and security of local residents.
The organisation stated that the protest was intended to draw the attention of the authorities towards the issue and seek immediate action in accordance with the law.
The protest concluded peacefully, with participants reiterating their demand for firm measures to address illegal immigration.
