Rashtriya Bajrang Dal holds protest against Pakistan, pays tribute to martyred policeman

JAMMU, Jul 23: The Rashtriya Bajrang Dal on Thursday staged a protest at Bhagwati Nagar against Pakistan following the martyrdom of a police personnel in a terrorist attack in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. Protesters also paid tribute to the martyred policeman and raised slogans condemning terrorism.

The demonstration was led by Rakesh Bajrangi, State President of the Rashtriya Bajrang Dal. During the protest, participants burned a Pakistan flag and expressed solidarity with the family of the martyred police personnel.

Addressing the gathering, Rakesh Bajrangi condemned the terrorist attack and alleged that Pakistan-backed terrorist groups continue to target civilians and security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir. He also criticised certain political parties, claiming they had not taken a strong public stand against terrorism. These remarks represent his views.

Bajrangi said the government has been taking action against individuals allegedly involved in terrorism and drug trafficking by attaching properties and proceeding under the law. He further criticised Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti, alleging that she has opposed such actions by the government. This claim has not been independently verified.

Reaffirming the organisation’s stand, Bajrangi said the Rashtriya Bajrang Dal would continue to raise its voice against terrorism and work for the honour of martyrs and the security of the nation.

Among those present at the protest were Akshay Kumar, Manik, Shubham Singh, Narainia, Mani Singh, Pawan Kumar, Mohan Sharma, Rahul, Balbir Singh, Pari, Divyanshu Kapahi, Praveen Sharma, Kaushal Sharma and several other activists.
