Randhawa initiates macadamisation work in Ward 50

JAMMU, Sep 4: Continuing his commitment towards strengthening civic infrastructure and improving road connectivity, Hon’ble MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa today initiated the macadamisation of the main road and internal link roads of Sector-7, Ward No. 50.

The work is being executed under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and is aimed at providing better, smoother and safer road connectivity to the residents of the area.

The MLA was accompanied by Bahu Mandal President Sh. Surjeet Singh, District General Secretary Sh. Kulveer Charak, and a large number of local residents of Sector-7. Officials from the Public Works Department (PWD) concerned with the execution of the work were also present.

During the visit, Ch. Vikram Randhawa interacted with the PWD officials and the contractor and directed them to ensure quality workmanship, use of proper material and timely completion of the project. He emphasised that there should be no compromise with the quality of development works being undertaken for the benefit of the public.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that improving basic infrastructure and addressing the genuine developmental needs of the people remains a priority. He reiterated his commitment to taking up essential development works across the Bahu Constituency and ensuring visible and sustainable development at the grassroots level.

The local residents of Sector-7 expressed their gratitude to Ch. Vikram Randhawa for taking up the road macadamisation work and appreciated his continued efforts towards addressing public concerns and improving basic amenities in the area.
