Randhawa assures early resolution of Raipur Satwari’s long-pending civic issues

JAMMU, Jul 21: Reaffirming his commitment to accessible and responsive governance, MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa on Tuesday conducted an extensive public outreach visit to Raipur Satwari, where he interacted with local residents and listened to their grievances regarding various civic and developmental issues.

During the visit, residents highlighted several long-pending concerns, with the construction of a proper drainage system and the upgradation of the electricity transformer emerging as the most pressing demands. They informed the MLA that the inadequate drainage infrastructure leads to severe inconvenience during the rainy season, while the existing transformer is unable to meet the growing electricity demand of the area.

Taking serious note of the issues, MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa assured the residents that both matters would be taken up with the concerned departments on priority. He directed the officials to conduct the necessary inspections, prepare proposals, and initiate the required works without unnecessary delay to ensure early redressal of the public grievances.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that development must reach every household and every locality, adding that public representatives have a responsibility to remain connected with the people and address their concerns through timely action. He reiterated that strengthening basic infrastructure and improving civic amenities across the Bahu Constituency remains one of his foremost priorities.

The local residents appreciated the MLA for personally visiting the area, patiently listening to their concerns, and assuring prompt action. They expressed confidence that the long-pending issues would now receive the attention they deserve.

A large number of local residents, prominent citizens, and party workers were present during the visit.
