JAMMU, Jun 28: To ensure safety and security during the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2026, Railway Police Jammu conducted fire audit and exercise of rescue operation during fire incidents in buildings in the jurisdiction. Fire & Emergency Services Gandhi Nagar Jammu assisted and trained the Jawans during the workshop.
During the drill, the team inspected the operational efficiency of the fire extinguishers installed in various establishments.
An interaction session was conducted with the concerned staff and handlers on fire safety measures. Necessary instructions were issued to strengthen fire preparedness and ensure the safety of passengers and Railway property.
