NOPRUF extends full solidarity to protesting J&K vocational trainers; demands immediate abolition of outsourcing system

JAMMU/SRINAGAR, Sep 26: The National Old Pension Restoration United Front (NOPRUF), Jammu & Kashmir, under the leadership of UT President Rajesh Kumar Sharma, has announced its unconditional support and solidarity with the ongoing peaceful protest of J&K Vocational Trainers.

Expressing deep concern over the plight of hundreds of vocational trainers serving dedicatedly in government schools since 2016, Rajesh Kumar Sharma termed their demands completely genuine and just. He stated that subjecting educated youth to an exploitative third-party outsourcing system for nearly a decade contradicts the principles of fair labor and employee welfare.

NOPRUF strongly urges the UT Administration to intervene immediately, implement the recommendations already submitted by the Directorate of School Education, scrap the middle-agency outsourcing model, and formulate a secure, dignified job policy for these trainers.

Reassuring the Vocational Trainers Association and its leadership, NOPRUF reiterated that the entire employee fraternity stands shoulder-to-shoulder with them in their peaceful fight for stability and service dignity.
