JAMMU, Jun 30: The unemployment among displaced kashmiri migrants is on rise and there has not been given any special unemployment pakage to displaced migrant educated youth since 2008/09. Therefore despite passing more than 14 years, unemployment among the educated displaced migrants is on rise and with the result, great frustration and desperation is brewing among all such Dispalced educated youth in the community which needs a special attention and immediate remedial measures to tackle the menace of unemployment among displaced kashmiri educated youth.
In a Press statement issued today by the President of Jammu and Kashmir Displaced Kashmiri Pandit front Vinod Pandita, has appealed Governent of India, Home Minister and Lt. Governor Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to take a humantarian review on the unemployment problem among the Dispalced educated youth living in exile for last more than three decades by advertising and notifying a new special employment package comprising of at least ten thousand posts in different Central as well UT of J&K departments for such educated youth on immediate basis to tackle this burning issue of the community for sake of justice and equity.
Pandita further added that on spot recruitment drive be also carried out on previous pattern in camps and non camps in order to provide solace to the educated youth at their door steps so that they can serve the nation as well eke out their livelihood honorably in different departments and has also advocated for one job per family to tide over this difficulty.
Vishal Jotshi Vice President and Jyoti Dhar advisor of the front in a joint statement have said that the monthly meager cash assistance be increased from Rupees 13000 to rupees 25000 per month for relief holders who are solely dependent on the cash assistance for their survival which is presently quite meager in view of high price rise in daily essential commodities.
