Reyaz elected President, Wani General Secretary
DEVSAR, Aug 22: The Contractors Association of the Roads & Buildings (R&B) Sub-Division Devsar has constituted a new body, with members unanimously electing Reyaz Ahmad Dar as President of the association.
A meeting of the association was held at Town Hall Devsar, which was attended by contractors associated with the R&B Sub-Division.
During the meeting, members held detailed deliberations on issues confronting contractors and the need for greater unity and coordination among them.
Following discussions, Reyaz Ahmad Dar was unanimously elected as President, while Gh. Mohideen Wani was elected as General Secretary. Other office-bearers were also elected to different positions, completing the constitution of the new body.
Speaking on the occasion, members said the association would serve as a common platform for contractors to raise their genuine concerns and work collectively for their resolution.
They stressed the importance of maintaining unity, mutual cooperation and constructive coordination with the concerned authorities.
The newly constituted body also expressed its commitment to safeguarding the collective interests of contractors while ensuring that issues related to ongoing and upcoming works are taken up through a coordinated approach.
The members congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and expressed hope that the new leadership would strengthen the association and provide effective representation to contractors associated with the R&B Sub-Division Devsar.
