UDHAMPUR, Sep 19: The Mentoring and Monitoring Committee convened on Saturday in the Conference Hall, District Court Complex, Udhampur.
The meeting was chaired by Sumati Sharma, Secretary DLSA Udhampur under the supervision of Kalpana Revo, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Udhampur.
The committee took stock of the Panel Lawyers’ performance over the past year, highlighting their achievements, discussing the challenges they face, and reviewing the overall quality of legal services rendered.
The Secretary DLSA Udhampur actively inquired about any difficulties being faced by the Panel Lawyers related to court facilities, administrative support, or other requirements. She listened carefully, assured that their needs would be met, and addressed the concerns raised on the spot.
In addition, Secretary DLSA Udhampur, Sumati Sharma, reminded the Panel Lawyers about their pending liabilities and urged them to promptly update their case details on the LACMS Portal to ensure transparency and better monitoring of legal aid cases.
The meeting concluded with encouraging directions for the Panel Lawyers to continue their good work, maintain high standards of legal aid services, and swiftly address any issues that may arise in the future.
