JAMMU, May 23: Driven by a strong commitment to guide the youth of Jammu & Kashmir towards disciplined and purposeful careers, Brigadier Raj Jamwal founded Lakshya Defence Academy Jammu on July 1, 2014 at Rajinder Vihar, Bari Brahmana, Jammu. The academy was established with the vision of providing quality physical training and written coaching to aspirants seeking recruitment in the Army, Navy, Air Force, CAPF and Police Forces.
Encouraged by the overwhelming response and remarkable success of students, Brigadier Raj Jamwal expanded the academy by opening a second branch at Ambphalla (Karan Nagar), Jammu on November 1, 2014. The branch was started to provide specialised written coaching and SSB interview preparation for officer entry aspirants.
Through dedicated mentoring, disciplined training and the continuous efforts of its faculty, the academy has now achieved a significant milestone by crossing the landmark of 4000 selections, with more than 400 students being selected every year.
