JAMMU, Jul 23 (Agencies): The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) remains closed for vehicular movement due to landslides and shooting stones at several locations, J&K Traffic Police said in an update at 7 am.
The Doda-Kishtwar Road is also closed, while the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) Road and Mughal Road are open for traffic.
The Traffic Police said continuous heavy rainfall was being experienced along all routes and advised commuters to avoid travelling until the weather improves and the roads are declared safe and clear for traffic.
Commuters have been advised to check the latest road status through the Traffic Police’s X handle, Facebook page and Traffic Control Units.
