JAMMU, Sep 3: Inner Wheel Club Jammu New Gen in collaboration with ‘Pria Paints’ organised a colourful Pot Painting Fest to celebrate the oncoming festival of Janmashtami.
Children from all strata of society were invited to celebrate the spirit of Janmashtami by indulging themselves in ‘Matka Painting’ under the guidance of Dr. Priya Gupta, Human Rights Activist and renowned artist.
The initiative aimed at engaging children of different strata of society to instill a feeling of solidarity and unity amongst them. This amalgamation not only brought joy to our little munchkins but also helped in inculcating a sense of equality, thus removing any bars of demarcation on grounds of money, religion or sex.
Additionally, this painting activity where children explored and experimented with colours stimulated their brain development and creativity.
The little artists including Divy Samrat, Iyra Mahajan, Ivaan Mahajan, Reyaan Mahajan, Jeisha Chib, Ruhaan Gupta, Eirene Mahajan, Kiara Mahajan and others painted their hearts out on these matkas, thus turning their little ideas into beautiful creations.
On this occasion, President Ritu Sharma, Vice President Ambika Samnotra, ISO Anita Goel, Treasurer Satwant Kaur Sekhon, Editor Balwinder Kaur Johal and other members of the club were present.
The event was highly appreciated by one and all and concluded with joyful smiles and colourful matkas.
